Spinning Sword (Prototype)
This Prototype is a Top-down Twinstick Sworder, the player fills the boots of a small creature that is armed with a mysterious modular sword. The focus of this prototype was to both get to grips with UE4's Blueprint system and create an interesting multifaceted weapon for the player, this weapon takes the form of a sword.

The player can increase the length of the sword by touching attachment pieces with the tip of the sword, each attachment added slightly reduces the speed of both players movement and how fast the player can swing their sword.

The player has the ability to fire off the swords attachments as deadly projectiles, in case the sword becomes too unwieldy or the situation calls a ranged approach.

If the sword hits a wall, the segment that came into contact with the wall will detach from the rest of the sword also scattering all the segments preceding it. Since the sword is fragile the player must be mindful of their environment during fights.
This is my first project in UE4, it took me around 2 months of on-off development to create. I may take this project further in the future but for now, I feel like it does a good job showing that I have some experience working in UE4.
